We are aware that perimeter fall protection is now being actively enforced by Worksafe (Now the Victorian WorkCover Authority) and other OH&S bodies and because of this it is important that you have an effective, approved and certified roof protection system in place.
Government legislation requires an approved safety system be used in the following situations:
- Work on roofs of one or two storey constructions or situations with similar potential fall height.
- When concrete or semi-glazed tiles are used on any roof.
- Where dry/clean fully glazed tiles or metal deck roofing materials are used on any roof.
- On roofs where surface moisture, oil or other conditions may make the roofing material slippery.
- Other situations where the risk assessment shows an unacceptable risk of injury should someone fall.
- When installed our hire systems provide protection against these hazards and work on just about any building project that you are involved in, including buildings with and without eaves, gables, varying pitch roofs and around large patio areas.
- We hire the systems on the basis that only we are allowed to install or remove the systems.
- As you pay metre rate rather than a daily hire rate your costs remain the same if the project is delayed.
